Children's Church Leader: Catherine Drewry, Debbie Perry
Children's Church uses Come and Worship, a children's liturgy that includes lectionary readings from the Old Testament, Psalms, and Gospel, a doxology, songs, interactive homily, Children's creed, Prayers of the Young People, and opening and closing processions. Sound familiar? Children's Church is geared for kindergarten through 5th graders. Youth are welcomed and appreciated as youth leaders who spread out among the children, help them with reading or singing, and set a good example.
Children who wish to attend Children's Church begin the service in church with their families, then process out as a group early in the service, usually after the collect. Their special liturgy ends in time for the children to re-enter church with their families at the Peace.
Other leaders are Jennie Wenger, Jenifer Borg, and Katie Coyne.
