Stewardship Cottage Meetings
Thank you everyone who attended one of our cottage meetings leading up to our stewardship
ingathering last Sunday. I hope all of you enjoyed meeting and hearing from each other as much as I did! (And the desserts were divine!)
I was heartened to hear how much we value the warmth and sense of community among our
members and the openness and welcome for people and ideas of every kind. Some hope that we will reach for ever deeper and broader diversity among us. Even as we grow, members want to continue to nurture opportunities for friendship and fellowship beyond our larger gatherings on Sunday. Gregorians expressed gratitude for and commitment to our worship and the importance of the music ministry, youth and children’s programs and our outreach efforts, especially in this time of increased need. There is enthusiasm for "greening" the church and it looks like we will have a new committee in 2009 responding to this challenge. Desire was expressed to continue to care for our physical plant.
