St. Gregory the Great Episcopal Church hosts Rhythms of Grace, a family worship service where all forms of physical and vocal responses are embraced, every 2nd Sunday of the month. What we hope to have with Rhythms of Grace is an adaptive church service for those for whom conventional worship may be difficult, including those on the Autism Spectrum. This service will have scripture and storytelling that includes spoken and visual cues, therapeutic play for the response, and a simplified prayer for Holy Communion. Gathering and dismissal rituals will help with transitioning. The Reverend Gordon Bienvenue, a retired Methodist minister, will officiate at this inter-denominational service for the whole family.
St. Gregory's will host Rhythms of Grace on the second Sunday of each month in the Sanctuary. All are welcome at every service at St. Gregory’s. Please invite your friends! Any questions? Contact Catherine Drewry, director of Children’s Ministries at 706-201-7241 or firstname.lastname@example.org The Rev. Gordon Bienvenue may be reached at 706-850-0090 or email@example.com
