In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and as part of Creation Care Sunday, St. Gregory’s will host a Blessing of the Animals on the terrace at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 4. Bring your furry, feathered, finny, scaly, or slimy friends for a blessing, but please make sure they are safely confined on a leash or in a carrier to minimize stress for everyone (including your rector!). If your animal friend is shy around strangers or frightened in unfamiliar places, you can bring a picture of them to be blessed by proxy. Beloved stuffed animal friends are welcome to come for a blessing, too!
