Rally Sunday marks the beginning of the church’s program year and return of Sunday School for children and youth (I’d say adults as well, but we never really stop ). 

Also at the 10:30 service on Rally Sunday, we will have our first ever Instructed Eucharist. This means we will change the rhythm of worship to accommodate questions, answers, and explanations about why we do what we do in Sunday worship. There will be no Children’s Chapel, so that our younger ones can be present with us. This service is great for newer members and visitors, and longer term members who want to brush up on liturgical movement. If you’re not able to attend, the livestream video will be available on St. Gregory’s YouTube channel . You can also view the service bulletin, either for reference or to preview the Instructed Eucharist.

If you believe that Instructed Eucharist may not be for you— maybe you find it distracting, irreverent or unnecessary for your spiritual journey at this time—that’s okay. Please feel welcome to join us at the 8am, which will simply be our regular early service. Also, our sister church Emmanuel, will have their regular services as well. (Episcopal church is Episcopal church, and God is everywhere. There is no competition between churches in the Beloved Community. And the Rev. Katie Bradshaw is wonderful!)
